Check Point console settings: GAiA and Quantum Spark
Check Point appliances run GAiA at 9600 8-N-1, no flow control. The complication is physical rather than logical: Quantum Spark models (1500, 1600, 1800 in locally managed mode) frequently expose console over USB rather than RJ45, so a kit with only an RJ45 rollover lead will leave you stuck.

Field notes
Security Gateway
Check Point states: console serial = 9600 bps, 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, flow control none. After boot you reach the GAiA CLI; console is also the fallback when network mgmt is unreachable.
Quantum Spark
9600-8-N-1 serial console for local management mode bring-up. Check the device quick-start guide for the exact console connector of your Spark model.
Why it looks dead when it is not
Console silent on a Spark appliance
Check the port type first. If it is USB, the host needs a CDC-ACM serial driver and a data cable — many field laptops have neither ready.
Output pauses after the boot loader
GAiA can sit quiet before the login prompt appears. Press Enter once before assuming a failed boot.
Gateway reachable by SSH but locked out
Console is the fallback when the management interface is up but authentication or policy is broken. Keep the serial parameters on file before you need them.

PlugConsole turns a phone and an OTG serial cable into a browser terminal. Someone on site plugs in, you take the console from anywhere — no client software, no VPN, no drive to site. The settings on this page are built into the field console, so you pick the model and the parameters are already right.
